As ever, the Quadcross season shall be rounded out by the Quadcross of Nations and, for the second time in 3 years, we head back to the Czech Republic to the iconic Loket circuit, on the outskirts of Karlovy Vary.
It’s going to be an action-packed weekend, with no less than 54 riders across 18 nations making the trip to western Czech Republic including Team USA, who are keen to carry forward their momentum as they remain undefeated in all events they have contested – the only anomaly being in 2021 when they were unable to compete due to the dreaded COVID restrictions.
Joel Hetrick will run the #1 plate and, coming off the back of being undefeated 20-0 throughout his 2024 season, will certainly have a target on his back along with his teammates, #2 Brandon Hoag, who will be making his QXoN debut and 12-times AMA champion, #3 Bryce Ford.
Vice-champions last year on home turf, Team Italy shall be represented by Nicolo Roagna, Simone Mastronardi and 2023 European champion, Patrick Turrini.
Team Ireland are always in the mix with Mark Mclernon, Kyle Murphy and Paul Edgar looking to get on the box.
With starting numbers of #13, #14 and #15, Team GB manager Karl Robinson will be confident that his riders, double-British champion and 2024 European champion Harry Walker, 4-times ACU British Quad champion Dafydd Davies and British U21 champion Chad Beevers will be at the very sharp end of proceedings, with their eyes set on putting a stop to American dominance.
An exciting return to European racing once again for Team Estonia’s Kevin Saar. The 5-times European Quadcross champion shall head the Estonian charge, with teammates Rasmus Sona and former Estonian and Finnish national champion, Karl Robin Rillo.
Making their first appearance at this year QXoN shall be Team Croatia, with team manager Bozidar Galic fielding his riders, Sven Nozinic, Ivan Brdaric and Marin Galic.
With 18 nations taking to the gate, and 54 racers doing battle over the Nations event, this weekend of 28 / 29 September has the potential to be the greatest QXoN event we have seen throughout its 15-year history.
One things for sure is that you do not want to be missing the action – join them either in Loket, or on the livestream which shall be real-time updates and action throughout the course of the weekend.
