Westmorland Motor Club are still seeking entries for the famous Barbon Hill Climb on Saturday, June 22, held in the delightful village of Barbon between Kirkby Lonsdale and Sedbergh where the 813 metre tarmac country house drive has been used for the sport for over 50 years.
The number of entries the club have received has been slowly increasing, but the organisers still need more if the event is to be successful. Each rider gets at least 6 timed runs at the hill, more if they are fast enough to be in the top 20, then 10, then 5.
There are classes for just about every type of bike, including “Run What You Brung”, the only exception being four cylinder machines over 750cc and entries can be made either through the Sport 80 system or direct to the event secretary: Mike Rapley on 07788 161929 or by e-mail to rapley47@outlook.com.
Entries close on June 14, so sign up now and enjoy a great day in the Cumbrian countryside.
