Ready. Set. Showtime. Watch ‘Road to 2024’, the official launch show for the 2024 Isle of Man TT Races now for free exclusively on TT+.
Filmed in front of a live studio audience, this year’s show delivers TT fanatics with everything they need to get geared up ahead of this year’s highly anticipated event as hosts Chris Pritchard, Grace Webb and Steve Plater get the off-the-grid lowdown on simmering rivalries, team changes and new machinery from the sport's biggest names.
THE BIG THREE
Amongst the record-breaking action of 2023, there were three names that dominated the podium; Peter Hickman, Dean Harrison and Michael Dunlop.
With the competition heating up, Road to 2024 finds out how the TT’s fastest man Peter Hickman is feeling and how he plans to keep ahead of his rivals and defend his current reign as Senior TT champion. However, it’s not just Harrison and Dunlop that are hunting down Hickman as his fellow FHO Racing teammate Josh Brookes shares that he also has his eyes firmly set on the top step this year with the added advantage of insider knowledge.
As he prepares for his 110th race start at TT 2024, John McGuinness MBE gives us the lowdown on his Honda Racing UK teammates Dean Harrison and Nathan Harrison. With plans to disrupt and ready to take a win following a multitude of podiums, Dean talks tactics and shares that he’s very keen to learn a thing or two from John.
It’s all eyes on Dunlop for 2024 as he is one win away from making history and becoming the most successful TT rider of all time alongside his late uncle, the legendary Joey Dunlop. Trying not to focus too much on what a win could mean for him and instead focussed on the racing ahead, Dunlop reveals some of his behind the scenes preparations and details of the rides this year that he hopes will see him come out on top across the classes.
SIDECAR SHAKE-UP
Road to 2024 also brings the latest three wheel news following some big moves and shake-ups on the grid. 14-time TT winner Ben Birchall steps up to the stage to introduce his new passenger Kevin Rousseau, with updates from challengers Callum and Ryan Crowe as they talk machinery updates and ambitions.
Chris Pritchard also chats with this year’s hottest new sidecar contenders - World and British Sidecar Champions, Todd Ellis and Emmanuelle Clement, as well as some Manx bred rising stars including Ryan Cringle, Paul Cassidy, Joe Yeardsley.
