This Sunday will see the final MX race meeting this year at Wattisfield Hall with a full entry of 170 riders lined up for a 12-race programme starting at 11.30.
The event forms Round 8 of the NGR Championship which is led by Aaron Hopkins with former GP rider Gary Hoptrough in 2nd and local star Paul ‘Wally’ Hubbard in 3rd.
There are also races for the South Eastern EVOs who are battling it out for their championship. The EVO class includes twin shock bikes and other bikes which are a real handful to ride quickly such as the 2 stroke Maico 490 and Honda 500.
In support of the above championships are two groups of Experts and Juniors. Jake Nicholls is out for a play again on a Honda 125. He rode a 125cc at the evening meeting at Wattisfield Hall in July and got a lot of spectator support in achieving top five finishers against a group of 25 experts on more powerful machinery. Another good expert entered is the likable GH Motorcycles Ben Cole who always goes well at Wattisfield.
The track is in good condition following the recent rain and the club look forward to seeing you on the day.
The club would like to also thank Diss MCC for event sponsor Clarkes of Walsham.
