Rhayader’s Alex Walton secured the E2 European Enduro Championship title in Kielce, Poland at the weekend and finished runner up in the overall championship. Following a solid start in round one in Italy, Alex moved to the top of the standings in the Portuguese second round and then consolidated his position with runner up spots to wildcard riders in Estonia and Poland.
In the E1 class Yorkshire’s Luke Lusher has been steadily amassing points in all the rounds to finish 5th in the E1 standings. Lampeter’s Sion Evans has contested a couple of rounds of the highly competitive Youth class for riders under 21 on 125 machines and got himself in the points on both occasions to land up 10th overall. In his maiden European experience Rhayader’s Ryan Rowlands contested the Junior 2 class scoring a solitary point on Saturday but improving to 11th on day two to add 4 more points to his tally.
