The popular ACU National Trials series sponsored by S3 Parts kicks off this weekend in the Midlands with the traditional season opener the Vic Brittain Trial run by the enthusiastic South Shropshire club in the Welsh Marches.
There's a full entry with favourites in the Experts class being reigning champion Dan Thorpe plus Richard Sadler and Sam Haslem but all three will be keeping an eye on young Scot Jamie Galloway making his debut at the event. After her TV appearance the host club's Alice Minta backed up by Manx girl Kaytlyn Adshead also take on the expert route. It's anyone's guess who will come out on top in the Over 40s and clubman divisions but don't be surprised if one of the five women in the clubman class will be on the podium at the end of the day
