On Sunday 29th May the Iveston & Satley club will be hosting the third round of the British Sidecarcross championship plus round two of the British Quad championships at the spectacular Dean Moor circuit near Whitehaven.
After the first two rounds in the sidecar championship Stuart Brown / Josh Chamberlain and Brett Wilkinson / Joe Millard are absolutely neck and neck with 141 points each. In fact this is the first time I can remember a situation where the top two have the same number on first places, same number of second places and hence the same number on points. Because there is currently no rule in the championship regulations to split them they could both carry the red plate if they wish.
Currently in third place is Jake Brown / Paul Horton thirty seven points adrift.
Incredibly in the Experts championship there is a tie at the top with Tony Grahame / Ryan Henderson and Paul Pelling / Michael Curnow both on one hundred and sixteen points. Ten points adrift in third place are Anthony and Jason Green.
The quad championship will also include the Connor Smith Memorial event where the winner on the day will be presented with the annual trophy in memory of Connor.
Practice is due to start at 09.40 on Sunday with the first race set for 11.45. Admission for spectators is £10 per car and for those camping overnight there will be a charge of £10 per vehicle.
The track is situated near to Whitehaven and the nearest postcode is.CA14 4RH
