With the Michelin MX Nationals powered by Milwaukee British MX championship going from strength to strength the team are pleased to announce that Leatt and Apico will both be supporting the pro Elite championships for the 2022 season, which is set to burst into life this coming weekend at FatCat Moto Parc.
As a brand new partner to the championship Leatt will be the Elite MX1 class sponsors, while Apico move their support from the Expert class to now be the class sponsors of the Elite MX2 class. Both classes will continue to make up the ‘Fastest 40’ races that are presented by Lyfelinez and will be scored separately within the race as previously and continued to be shown live at all six rounds of the championship through the new MXN-TV YouTube channel for 2022.
Dave King – Leatt Marketing & Athlete Manager
“Leatt is super excited to become a partner of the UK MX Nationals. This series seems to go from strength to strength, each season looking for new ways to push and promote the sport we all love and give riders, their families, friends, and people at home new ways to watch some of the most exciting Motocross racing in the UK.”
Dylan Brown – Apico Director
“We’ve been impressed by the coverage and brand awareness we receive from the Michelin MX Nationals for Apico and our brands, it made sense to work with our supplier to further the reach of the brand using all aspects of promotion on offer from the race series. We’re looking forward to developing our working relationship with the Michelin MX Nationals going forward.”
Paul Irwin – MX Nationals Director
“It’s always good news when any company or brand want to get involved with the championship, especially when it’s a brand within the sport like Leatt and Apico because it encourages us that we’re on the right path in trying to elevate the sport in the UK. With continued support from within the industry we can have a solid base to work from to try and attract new partners from outside the sport which is going to be key for our growth as a championship and ultimately as a sport, so we’re thankful for having Leatt and Apico on board.”
