The great news is that the Diss MCC Santon Enduro in Thetford Forest on Sunday 27th February has now got consent from Forestry England and Natural England. The event forms Round 1 of the ACU Eastern GH Motorcycles Enduro Championship and the opening date for entries will be 7.30pm on Friday 21st January.
The event is a long course forest enduro of 12 miles per lap with one special test next to the start area. As the terrain is very dry and sandy, it is clearly a rider favourite as it is rideable irrespective of the weather conditions and rider capability.
Classes will be available for Championship, Expert and Clubman with sub classes for over 40’s (experts and clubman) and over 50’s (clubman only). The classes are based on the Eastern Centre Grading list so good British Championship Expert and Clubman riders are encouraged to ride in a higher class.
A lot of top riders from the Enduro and MX world often enter the event as it provides a great opportunity to develop fitness for the forthcoming season.
Entry fees have increased due to the increase in ACU Premier Insurance which the event is run under. However, entries are expected to still fill up
very quickly, so do not delay and run the risk of being disappointed.
The entries will open on Friday 21st January at 7.30pm. All entries will be online – ACU:
