With less than a month to go before the Sudbury Motorcycle Club Annual Extreme Enduro at Foxborough Quarry, Sible Hedingham. Essex CO9 3AN on the 28th December, the hard working committee have been making good use of the year off due to covid restrictions with a fleet of heavy plant, lifting gear and major obstacles newly installed and put to great use.
The course has undergone an extreme facelift to entice the usual far-flung visitors from the comfort of their sofas during the quiet Christmas holiday period and the revamped, new and repositioned obstacles including the Ross Noble logs, bog and the stairway to heaven are sure to test even the most hardened extreme competitors on this, the only Eastern Centre Extreme track available.
Since the first extreme in 2015 with Sudbury Member Jamie Roper taking the win, it has been left to Charlie Frost to take the chequered flag on all other events since then – Will we see a new winner and title holder for 2021?
With entries open on the ACU website for this 2-hour Adult event - 10am start and a shortened easier youth 1-hour event for our age 12-16 riders with finisher medals for all, it is guaranteed to blow away the cobwebs and get your blood pumping after a few days of over indulgence.
Spectators are welcome for a great day of entertainment at £5 entry per head, (limited car parking so please travel together where possible). There is also hot food and drinks available on the day.
