The ACU Motocross Committee can confirm that for 2021 Team GB will not be contesting the Sidecar Cross of Nations in France.
Following the tireless work by Team Manager, Dan Chamberlain to secure a strong team that could contest for a top result at the event, the decision has been made to miss the event for this year and focus on returning for the 2022 event.
Speaking of the reason’s behind missing the event Dan Chamberlain commented, “I’ve been speaking to the top 4 Sidecar teams and for various reasons including injuries, travel restrictions & travel complications. Also the constant changing of the World Championship dates with two rounds now being contested after the Nations event making it harder for riders to compete to the one off event.”
