The European Finals Shootout is the penultimate round of the ACU Championships. In Top Fuel Bike Neil Midgley has a small lead over Al Smith and reigning champion Steve Woollatt is in third place. Allan Davies has repaired his motor and did some test passes last month.
Funny Bike sees the return of points leader Stuart Crane and teammate Mark Smith who has a new engine combination. Green Light Nationals winner Tony Clark will hoping to continue his good form. Dave Peters and Jiri Lukes are entered. Making his first appearance of the year is Dave Batcheler.
Louis Davies was back to winning ways at the Green Light Nationals. Sean Mills had engine problem and hopefully he has sorted out. Chris Neary has improved his performance at every event this season. Jordan Kenway has also improved in his first year in Comp Bike. Making a welcome return is John McLean Sr and Jr.
Alan Morrison has really shocked the Super Street Bike class with his fantastic performances on the ex Richard Stubbins bike, dipping into the six-second after only 21 passes 6.913-211.91mph. But Steve Venables holds the points lead coming into this event. Stephen Mead ran a personal best speed 208mph at the last round. Mark Dainty looks to have found his form again. Mark Hope has been running in the 7.1secs and cannot be counted out for a win. Daniel Lencses from Hungary and Mathias Bohlin Sweden make it an international event. Bohlin ran 6.930 at Tierp last month.
Pro Stock Bike class has two riders entered for this event. 2018 European FIM Champion Bertrand Maurice who ran a personal best last month in Tierp 7.176. The other rider is Martin Bishop from the UK
