The ACU wish to congratulate all the Team GB riders and Team Manager on claiming two overall podiums and a well-deserved fifth overall as a Team.
While the senior Team GB riders are in Italy at the Motocross of Nations, the Team GB youth team are also competing in their own event, the Coupe De L’avenir in Belgium which is essentially the youth version of the MXON.
Like their elder statesmen in Italy, the future of British Motocross put in a fantastic performance in the races with the 65cc trio of Robbie Daly, Alfie Geddes-Green and Olly Waters finishing the weekend in third overall.
It was a tough weekend for the 85’s riders Ryan Waggott, Charlie Richmond and Will Haddock as they finished 10th overall.
Saving the best to last and the Open class which saw Tom Grimshaw, Sam Nunn and James Barker secure a superb second overall and finish just two points behind the winners.
At the end of the event Team GB finished fifth overall across the three different classes.
