The 3rd round of the ACU Belle Trailers British Ladies & Girls Trials Championship will be held this Saturday after having to move the date 3 times this year due to covid restrictions.
Richard Arbon, Clerk of the Course for the Guisborough & District MCC, is very please he can finally set out 12 sections, over 3 laps with 4 routes, to test the 7 Championship classes and 2 non Championship classes with a total of 35 entries.
The Ladies Championship class is being led by FIM Ladies World Championship leader Emma Bristow on maximum 40 points from 2 rounds held to date.
Next to Emma in the overall Championship class is recently crowned FIME European Ladies Champion Shropshire's Alice Minta, but for this round she was side lined by a knee injury whilst riding in Czech Republic on the second day of an International event recently and was forced to withdraw from this event to recuperate before the three prestigious events she is competing in during September: two Spanish and one Portuguese Ladies World Championship events. She will also be a member of the ACU Trials De Nations Ladies team in Portugal.
In a number of classes we have riders on the same points after 2 rounds which will make for interesting day on Saturday for many of the riders to state their position after round 3.
