Multi-time ACU Top Fuel Bike Champion Steve Woollatt heads the entry list for the Springspeed Nationals.
Neil Midgley will be hoping to continue the performance he had last year, after recording personal bests of 6.384-190.60mph. Allan Davies will be hoping to run his first 200mph plus in 2021. Al Smith is another rider who recorded personal best last year 207.04mph on the three cylinder powered fuel bike.
Funny Bike.
Former ACU Funny Bike Champion Dave Peters will face stiff competition with Stuart Crane six-second runner at nearly 200mph. Mark Smith ran career best figures last year 7.130-184.33mph and will be hoping for a six-second pass in 2021. Lorcan Parnell is another rider who has run a 6sec. Jiri Lukes makes a welcome return to Funny Bike.
Comp Bike.
Reigning ACU Comp Bike Champion Louis Davies returns to the class after running in Funny Bike in 2020, were he recorded a personal best of 7.268. Heading the challenge for the title will be Paul Hambridge and Sean Mills. Former champion Phil Leamon can never be counted out. Chris Neary ran career personal bests 7.897-180.69mph.
Super Street Bike.
Steve Venables starts his defence of his title. Mark Dainty ran a career personal best in 2020 of 7.181 at 202.97mph and will be hoping to improve. Dave Smith also ran a p/b 7.250 at 200mph with his new turbo set up. Alex and Mark Hope will be hoping for good performances in 2021. Stephen Mead ran a personal best speed 207.91mph with his spare motor last year. There are two new debuts in the class. Ross Morrison and Alan Morrison Jr.
