After an absence of 21 months the ACU British Sidecarcross championships will restart on Sunday 30th May at Dean Moor MX park hosted by the Iveston & Satley MX club. This will be the first round of five for this year’s championship as the original first round scheduled for 18th April will not be replaced.
Defending champions, Stuart Brown / Josh Chamberlain, will be looking to continue where they left off in 2019 but Jake Brown / Joe Millard and Brett Wilkinson / Maxime Cuche who have already beaten Stuart & Josh this year have other ideas.
All three of these teams have competed in the Nora championships earlier this year and have all won at least one race so the competition between them should be fast and furious on the fast demanding Dean Moor circuit.
Returning to the championship after a short absence are ex IMBA champions Jack Etheridge / Jim Kinge and also top Irish crew Neil Campbell / Ross Grahame.
Also hoping to be challenging at the front are George Kinge now teamed with Ryan Henderson and Dan Foden now partnered by Nathan Cooper.
In the Experts class which is contested within the same three races the possible leaders should be between the vastly experienced Paul Pelling / Jack Wilkinson, the equally experienced Rob Oldfield / Faye Barnes plus Etheridge.
Practice will start immediately after scrutineering has finished with the main races starting at approximately 10.30.
For the first time spectators will be allowed into the circuit and the admission fee is £10 /car or £5 for a car with just one person in.
The circuit is just NW of Lamplugh and the nearest postcode is CA14 4RH
