The Southern 100 Marshals Association Committee have made this decision in light of the COVID Pandemic and the subsequent period of inactivity.
We all hope that common sense and medical science prevails in the near future to allow us all to get back to the roadside supporting our great competitors.
As ever we are looking to recruit more Marshals and in particular from the younger generation to ensure our sport has a future. We are very thankful to the Marshals from off Island who come to help us each year and have to say how much you are a big part of our events due to diminishing numbers of Island based Marshals.
To anyone considering joining us to Marshal, please do not hesitate to contact Juan or myself and the same for any Marshals with any queries.
In the meantime and for the coming Festive Season. Southern 100 Motorcycle Racing and its Marshals Association would like to wish all Marshals, Paddock Marshals, Medics, Radio Operators, Officials and all the fantastic people who come along to help; the very best.
Peter Chadwick
Chairman and Chief Marshal
