Entries
open on Tuesday 1st September for rounds two and three of the
championship which will re start on the weekend of the 3rd and 4th
October in Devon. Billed as the “Devon Double Header”, the weekend offers
fantastic value for money with no less than 24 separate sections and two full
days of riding on the moorland course.
Obviously,
the main contenders in all classes will be eager to resume the championship
battle which opened back in March, but these two rounds are also aimed at
Centre Level Expert riders who are looking to compete on a variety of sensible
sections consisting of streams, wooded hillside climbs and some good old
fashioned muddy banks to test their skills.
Series
Manager, Brian Higgins who has been and looked at the sections gave a
favourable report stating, “The hard working Torridge Club have gone out of
their way to make this an enjoyable event for all classes. Value for money has
been considered here, especially on the Expert route, as every section has been
plotted with the capabilities of the majority of riders in mind. The Club have
also negotiated some special hotel deals in the area and with the holiday
season over, travelling to the South West should be easy”.
Further
details can be found on the www.acutrialgb.co.uk website and entries will be on the normal Ride ACU
website.
