The final round of the 2019 ACU Cromwell Trucks and Zip Under 21 British Quad Championships became a victim of the English weather on Sunday at Canada Heights and the meeting was abandoned without a wheel being turned.
On Saturday afternoon the track was in prime condition and although the weather forecast wasn’t good it looked as if the meeting would go ahead. Unfortunately, a down pour at about 9 am on Sunday flooded the track and the decision was made to cancel.
As a result, the final Championship standings were decided with Mark McLernon being declared the 2019 ACU Cromwell Trucks British Quad Champion ahead of Harry Walker in second place and Justin Reid in third place.
In the ACU Zip Racing British Under 21 Quad Championship is was reigning Champion Harry Walker who retained the title ahead of Dean Dillon in second and Murray Graham in third.
