The ACU Track Racing Committee are pleased to announce that the four riders have been selected for the FIM Long Track of Nations. Following the announcement earlier this week that Paul Hurry has been appointed Team Manager, he has been working hard to select a team ready for the event in Germany.
With the event due to take place in just two weeks’ time Paul has been busy make his final selection for the event. The team selection is as follows, Chris Harris, Zach Wajtknecht, Edward Kennett and Paul Cooper, with Kennett being given the Captains armband for the event.
All for riders are in currently in great form with Zach Wajtknecht recently claiming the European Grass Track Championship title, while the other riders have been posting strong results both home and abroad.
Team Manager Paul Hurry commented on the team selection by saying “It’s been a pretty difficult choice to pick the team with there being 7-8 riders all riding really well at present. But after a lot of thinking and mind searching, I’ve gone for a team that I feel can match any of the other countries on what is a similar track to some speedway tracks.”
