The Yorkshire Trials playground at Brimham Rocks will host the seventh round of the series this Sunday and is sure to produce a fantastic day of Trials action. The guys and girls at Yeadon Guiseley have marked out twelve superb sections on the wooded hillside on a compact course which offers spectators 100% viewing. Indeed, the course is so compact that it has been recommended that Assistants (Minders) would be better on foot at this round.
Factory Beta rider James Dabill returns for this event, but Jack Price (Gas Gas), the on form Peace Brothers (Sherco) and Toby Martyn (Beta) will be keen to give the world number seven a tough time.
Ross Danby (TRRS) and Richard Sadler (Gas Gas) go into this, the seventh of nine rounds, sharing the points lead with Sam Connor (Beta) just three marks adrift in a very competitive ACU Trial 2 Class of fourteen entries.
Dan Thorpe (Gas Gas) is starting to pile the pressure on Chris Stay (TRRS) in the ACU Trial Expert class coming into this event just one point in arrears, whilst the winner last week, Sam Yeomans (Gas Gas) is still in touch following his win at the sixth round last weekend. The Expert Class has attracted a large entry of thirty plus riders.
The twelve sections, which will be covered three times in the five and a half hour time limit feature large rocks which will provide spectacular action. The first man starts at 9.30am with the first ACU Trial GB rider away at approx. 10.20am. The Podium Presentations are scheduled for 4.05pm when the winners will be interviewed.
