The final round of the 2019 Nora-MX Series and the sixth round of the Cromwell Trucks British QX Championship will take place at Cusses Gorse in Wiltshire (SP4 6JW) this weekend, the 7th of July.
There’s still all to play for in the British Open with championship leader Mark McLernon on 335 points, Harry Walker on 292 and Justin Reid on 278. A few wildcard entries could liven things up a little with super-fast Norwegian Christopher Tveraen, runner-up in the 2018 EMX European Quad Champoinship in the mix; he’ll be riding an ATVs R Us Yamaha. Multi British and European Quad champ Paul Winrow – who’s in training for his Pont de Vaux appearance next month – will also get a wildcard ride.
The Nora-MX Pro and Pro Am championships were tied up at the last round, with McLernon winning the KIK Pro class and Iestyn Rowlands the ATVs Only Pro Am class. The rest of the class winners will be decided this weekend with titles up for grabs amongst 250cc, Clubman, Masters, Novice, Ladies, 100 and 50cc groups.
