Leading tyre manufacturer Metzeler are providing special tyre sponsorship to the ‘rising stars’ of road racing who have been racing at the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company Southern 100 Road Races on the Colas Billown Course.
Four sets of
Metzeler Tyres were available to be awarded to the rising stars,
Joe Ackroyd, Dave McConnachy, Xavier Denis and
Frankie Stennett receiving their awards at the end of the
Isle of Man Steam Packet Company Southern 100 Road Races from Southern 100 Rider’s Liaison Officer, Chris Palmer.
Southern 100 Club Secretary Rachel Palmer along with Press Officer Phil Edge and Riders Liaison Officer, Chris Palmer had the difficult task of deciding on the worthy recipients, who after much deliberation choose:
