Manx Grand Prix on-line followers will enjoy the event even more in the future with the launch of two new web sites, one for news and information and the other devoted specifically to the filmed race coverage and live on-line streaming. The news site has been designed to give a better experience particularly for the 70 per cent of followers who access it on the move using a mobile device. Web designer, Ruari Buchanan, of Little City, said: 'The new sites are designed as 'mobile first' sites with what is termed as a 'responsive' design - one that resizes and conforms its images and text to whatever device is being used to view the content, especially considering that Manx Grand Prix site visitors would be remote around the course and only have a mobile device on them, during the site's busiest times. Ruari added: 'It's a more 'immediate' site themed around the look and style of Instagram and Facebook, so a more social site.' The re-vamped Manx Grand Prix site (www.manxgrandprix.org) gives visitors and riders the latest news, regulations and entry information direct from the club, along with event history and race reports. Following the site's launch, the club will bring more and more material on-line, gradually adding material such as databases and historical race results. The Manx Grand Prix TV (www.manxgrandprix.tv) site provides all future livestream racing and onboards, as well as race highlights, archive footage and interviews and catalogue of video material, it gives a set place where fans can watch the live streams, rather than having to search for them on Facebook or Youtube - where they may well still be broadcast.
