A full entry of 190 riders will tackle Diss MCC’s Santon Enduro on Sunday 24th February for the 1
st round of the 2019 GH M/cs Eastern Enduro Championship. The 12-mile course of the sandy terrain of Thetford forest is looking in good shape and as usual is very dry for this time of the year.
ACU Eastern Centre MX champion Shaun Southgate Herts MX, Honda UK starts as favourite following a good ride on the Muntjac but strong competition will come from multiple ACU Eastern Enduro Champions Jason Morland (GH Motorcycles Yamaha) and multiple champion Chris Hockey who is now riding a Gas Gas. The 2018 ACU Eastern Enduro Champion Luke Parker is missing the event as he is now focusing his attention on riding the ACU BEC which is being held on the same day. The good thing is both events have a full entry which reflects how strong enduro events are within the UK.
The start is 09.00 Forest Ride 22 on the Thetford to Mundford Road IP27 0TR. First rider on the test is 09.05 and Championship should be riding 6 laps of the course, Experts 5, Clubman 4 and Sportsman 3.
