Race fans got an advanced warning at the opening round of the EMX300 series at Valkenswaard at the weekend of the electrifying action they can expect in this year’s ACU British Two-stroke Championship.
Reigning British champ Mike Kras and his GL12 Racing KTM team-mate James Dunn produced a pair of powerful performances with Kras running 2-3 for third overall, one place ahead of Dunn who carded 4-4.
“I am really looking forward to the first British Two-stroke Championship round because I know I will do well,” said Kras. “I feel like I am ready to fight anyone on track for the victory. I hope lots of people come to watch the action.
“Before the season even starts I already want to thank Bob Buchanan for all that he has done to get the team racing with the best equipment. I will give it 100 per cent effort and we will see how far that gets me.”
There are still limited spaces available for the series opener at Culham on April 1 which forms part of the four-day British Motocross Festival. To enter contact Sonia Goggin in the ACU office by email at sonia@acu.org.uk
