The Southern 100 Marshals Association are pleased to announce that the special discount scheme for marshals travelling to the Southern 100 will be in place once again for 2018.
The agreement between
Southern 100 Marshals Association and the
Isle of Man Steam Packet Company has already helped to attract additional marshals to ‘the friendly races’ and both parties expect this positive trend to continue in future years.
Chief Marshal, Peter Chadwick said: ‘
The scheme is available as a thank you to those that marshalled at the 2017 races. ‘The Marshals Association and the race organisers cannot thank the Steam Packet Company enough for their continued support, marshals are a vital part of any road race meeting, none more so than at Billown.’
Steam Packet Company Chief Executive Mark Woodward said:
‘Without sufficient number of marshals, events such as the Southern 100 wouldn’t happen. Marshals are a vital element in the continued success of the Southern 100, and we are delighted to be able to help by continuing the discount scheme introduced for the 2017 meeting. ‘We have been title sponsor for the Southern 100 for almost 20 years and will continue to work with the organisers to ensure the race meeting can continue to thrive for years to come.’
