RHL Activities is pleased to announce that Honda (UK) will support the 2017 HydroGarden Weston Beach Race, which takes place on October 13-15.
Honda has a long and successful heritage in motorcycle racing, and this forms a major motivation behind its motorcycle products. With World Motocross Championship wins in recent years, as well as the MX1 British Motocross Championship title in 2017 with Graeme Irwin and the Buildbase Honda Team, Honda has deep roots in the off-road motorcycle sector, and this year will support the HydroGarden Weston Beach Race.
For this year’s event Honda will be providing a number of the new Pioneer utility vehicles for the HydroGarden Weston Beach Race along with a variety of ATVs to assist with the track build of the UK’s biggest, baddest and maddest off-road event. The Pioneers will also be utilised to transport key personnel around the vast site.
Steve Morris, Head of Power Products at Honda (UK) added; “The Pioneer offers the ultimate off-roading ability and can tackle even the toughest of terrain. With its generous load capacity, ability to carry up to four passengers and reliable performance, the Honda Pioneer is the ideal vehicle to assist with the set-up of this iconic event as well as being on hand to support for the duration of the weekend.”
Commenting on Honda’s involvement in this year’s beach race is Gareth Hockey, Director of RHL Activities, “For me it is an honour to have Honda as a part of the 2017 HydroGarden Weston Beach Race. Not only with the off-track support, it is fantastic for us to be provided with ATV’s and the new Pioneer for the set up and during the event, as this will certainly make our operation much smoother by playing a key part for our movement around the site. I look forward to working with Honda this year.”
