It is with much regret that we must inform you of the tragic death of fifty year old Michael Alty (rider # 709) from Great Britain who was participating in the opening day of the 2017 FIM International Six Days Enduro held in Brive-la-Gaillarde, France.
Michael Alty was attended to immediately by the event medical team. Despite their best efforts to resuscitate him, he sadly passed away at approximately 17.30hrs local time.
The ACU and FIM wish to extend their condolences to his family and friends at this difficult time.
