Well done to ACU Team GB for some outstanding racing throughout the day in very competitive classes against the rest of the world’s elite youth riders.
Junior 65cc saw Ollie Colmer take a third in the qualifying session along with Keelan Hope taking seventh position in Group B after some good battles throughout the session. Group A saw Team GB’s only rider in the group, Wal Beaney take twelfth position putting all three riders into tomorrow’s races. Finley Evans rode tremendous with some of the world’s elite riders in the qualifying session and missed out on the qualification for tomorrow’s races.
In the 85cc class Group A saw Eddie Jay Wade take the top spot with the fastest qualification time. Group B, saw Bobby Bruce qualify, with James Smith giving a hundred percent. James was a strong contender for qualifying in the Last Chance race, with a fall snatching the chance of qualifying away from him.
Christopher Mills, Jed Etchells, Drew Anderson were pulled out of the ballot in Group A for the 125’s, with a strongly contested line up of riders. In the first qualification, unfortunately saw all three riders miss out on the qualification. Group B saw Rossi Beard finishing in fourteenth position, taking his place in the main races tomorrow and Joel missing out on the qualification. Chris, Drew, Joel & Jed contested in the last chance moto strongly with Chris grabbing a qualification spot.

I would like to say well done to all riders who unfortunately missed out on the qualifications in their respective classes, who rode outstanding today for the team. Team GB should be proud of their riding and I look forward to seeing our riders in the races tomorrow.”
