Cheshire Grasstrack Club proudly present the 2017 ACU Under 21's British Final and the Triple Trophy Club meeting this coming Sunday the 14th May at Woodhouse Lane, Gawsworth, Cheshire SK11 9QY. First race is 1pm, Entry is only £10 for adults, £7.50 Concessions and under 16's with accompanying paying adult are free!
In the Under 21’s there is a very competitive line up featuring Callum Walker, Arran Butcher, Luke Harris, Ryan Ashcroft, James Hartley, Liam Ashcroft and Zach Wajtknecht. All of these young men are proven race winners so it’s anyone’s guess who’ll take the crown this year.
The Triple Trophy Meeting see’s 250cc competitors racing for the Roy Holding Diamond H Trophy, look out for Antony Worrall, David Knowles and Tim Greig in the full line up. The 350cc class are going for The ‘Dave’ Knocker Cup, 500cc’s are up for the excellent Jim Rowlinson Rose Bowl, battling for it will be previous winner Dan Winterton with the likes of Paul Cooper and Jamie Fenn-Smith chasing the big prize.
But there’s more, racing in the name of our previous long standing Chairman Phillip Winterton the 1000cc sidecars do battle to win this new annual trophy. Quad and up to 125cc support classes round off and great looking days racing, plus we will have a Speedway & Grasstrack Exhibit showing many old bikes and memorabilia, Steve Irving will be showing his hand drawn speedway Portraits and not forgetting Peter Collins MBE will be presenting the awards.
