ACU British Quad Cross Series co-ordinator, Stuart Walker, has secured regional sponsorship for all six rounds of the 2017 championship series.
Starting in Ireland Datum civil engineering has stepped up to the mark, with British QX regular ATVs Only supporting its local round at Culham in Oxfordshire. Regular quad supporter Dave Whitbread of 24-7 Diamond Drilling has fronted up for the Landrake round, and Chris Riley from Berkshire Cycles has agreed to back the Foxhills round at Swindon. Bill Smith from Filtec is sponsoring the Connor Smith memorial meeting at Deanmoor and leading Yamaha ATV dealer Quad Bikes R Us is covering the final round at Canada Heights.
As announced last week, Wilcox Hole Formers is supporting the Under 21 Class, and hopefully next week we will be able to announce a major title sponsor for the whole series.
Four of the six rounds are running alongside the ACU British Sidecar-cross rounds with the other two rounds running alongside NORA-MX Club rounds at Culham and Landrake.
With the start line restricted to 40 quads, entries are already over 75% filled, so if you are still hanging about - don't....
Wild cards will be taken at each round if there is room, but Stuart is now ready to accept wildcard entries for Round 1 at Desertmartin on April the 1st.
Latest series entrant is sand ace Stefan Murphy, racing under the RPG banner for 2017, and French Sand Master Harry Miller.
