The ACU are supporting a 50cc Championship in 2017 for Freetech and Classic machines at six circuits in the UK. The championship is open to all riders except the rounds at Aberdare Park which is restricted to National licence holders only. From the picturesque circuit at Tonfanau to the fast circuit of Cadwell Park the 50cc racing will be very close and with a great variation in machinery will interest the classic fans and modern riders alike.
With grids filling up fast as entries come in early it looks like it’s going to be a competitive year in 2017 for the 50’s. Trophies and prize money are available for the podium finishers at each meeting.
