Motorcycle Live opens its doors at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham from 19th November through to 27
th November.
The ACU will be in attendance throughout the whole period ready to offer advice and guidance to visitors of the show about how to get into the sport, how to obtain an ACU licence or to give advice on any aspect relating to the many disciplines in which the ACU are engaged. The ACU Stand will be located in Hall 2.
This year the Auto Cycle Union Ltd (ACU), in conjunction with BUMPY (
Birstall
Urban
Motorcycle
Project for
Youth) will be providing members of the public with the opportunity to ‘Try Out’ the sport of Trials. Visitors can ‘have a go’ for free every day whilst the Show is open.
The ACU Try Our Trials sessions are 15 minutes in duration and include full instruction from ACU certified coaches. All appropriate protective clothing will be provided. Trials riding demonstrations by the ACU coaches will also take place daily with times to be confirmed.
So, if you want to have a go at Trials, you need to prove that;
You are at least 16 years of age (if under 18, you must have a parent or legal guardian with you to sign you on) You have a valid DVLA motorcycle licence or have an ACU competition licence Sessions will commence from around 10.15am daily and can be booked on a first come first served basis by visiting the ACU stand 2A08 in Hall 2.
