Steve Dixon, MXoN Promoter: "It gives me great pleasure to have the opportunity to bring this prestigious race not only back to the U.K, but back to Matterley Basin, a venue that was built to host this monumental race in 2006. Whilst the memories of 2006 were akin to the Glastonbury of motocross, where memories stay strong for both good and bad reasons, racing, streakers, traffic, rain, sunshine, the circuit has since hosted 6 successful events that have seen the quality of racing remain the same, while improving year on year in every area.
My aim for 2017 is for the rider to enjoy the track, and for the fans, traders, staff, sponsors, guests, volunteers to experience a phenomenal weekend of racing and atmosphere come rain or shine"
