Camborne and Redruth MCC have been long-time supporters of OSET and were one of the first OSET Cups in the country. This weekend sees the OSET ‘veterans’ invited to stage an Arena Trial across Friday, Saturday and Sunday (19, 20, 21 August) at the Cornish Steam and Country Fair.
The event, which attracts thousands of visitors, takes place each year at the Stithians Showground nr Truro in Cornwall (TR3 7DP) and is organised by WESES Ltd on behalf of the West of England Steam Engine Society.
A hugely popular, family show, the OSET stage has proved so popular in recent years it now holds a prime position near the entrance. Visitors can see OSET Bikes riding over cars, lorries and other man made obstacles.
Howard Stevens, said: “We are delighted to have been invited back again. We introduced OSET Bikes three years ago and they proved hugely popular with the crowd - so much so – that OSET Bikes now make up the majority of our show. We’d love to meet any trials enthusiast or OSET riders down in the area on holiday – it’s a great day out!”
As well as Steam Engines, Fun Fair, Vintage Vehicles, Model and Craft displays, there is much more to entertain everyone around the show – a great day our for all locals and tourists. There will be a hospitality marquee next to the display area and any of the OSET family are invited to come along and introduce themselves – Howard Stevens and the look forward to meeting you!
