This Sunday July 17th the Phoenix Tools Premier motocross Championship makes a return back to Whiteway Barton, Kingsteignton for round 7 in the 10 round series which will also include the penultimate round of the R C Motorhomes 2-Stroke Championship.
In the Gabriel Insulations Expert Championship Jamie Skuse on the Tony Maunders Racing Suzuki goes into round 7 with a 69 points lead over Jordan Carter with Kelvin Townsend there in 3rd gradually closing in on Carter who for sure will have to be consistant if he is to hold on to 2nd spot. Other riders in the frame will include the likes of James Kensington, Luke Craig, Tommy Alba, Loukas Maggio, Luke Dean, Josh Taylor, Tom Moore, Jason Brooke plus many more.
In the M D Racing Over Age Championships its Wayne Shimell on the Tyremarks Husqvarna who totally dominated both days at Foxhills who heads the Over 35 class from Jonathan Morrissey who has James Price on the Ace Comfort Cooling Kawasaki in 3rd place just 11 points adrift so James will be looking to close that deficit. The Over 40’s class still has Stuart Rawlings leading the standings from the Tony Maunders Racing Honda of Rob Lewis and team mate Richard Tapscott on the KTM, but others to watch out for include the Gabriel Insulations Honda of Steven Elford, Chris Brown on the Cheddar Mx Honda and James Knatchbull to name a few. The Over 50’s has the Projuice KTM of David Ford topping the standings ahead of Alan Packer who has Adrian Toy pushing him for the spot just 21 points adrift in 3rd.
In the Tony Maunders Junior Championship the man to beat for sure will be the Bridgestone KTM of Harry Linton who has a commanding lead over Dave Anthony on the Oakleaf Honda, but just 8 points behind Anthony is Ross Churchill with Jay Lewis not that far away in 4th so the pressure will be on. Other riders include Harry Mitchell, Jamie Buckingham, Ross Kersey, Jamie Dixon and Tyron Cleaver who came back from illness at the last round and was well on it plus many others.
The R C Motorhomes Championship has Leighton Holmes on the Moto 64 KTM with a 99 points lead going in to the penultimate round over the R C Motorhomes KTM of Will Worden who had a disastrous last round when his bike blew which has let Ben Milward on the Inchains Yamaha close in who is just 13 behind in 3rd who for sure will be out to do well.
