Following tradition, the entries for all classes at the popular Vets Motocross des Nations event at Farleigh Castle on the weekend of September 3rd and 4th open this weekend and demand is sure to be high. In an attempt to make it as easy as possible to enter the organising Club have tweaked the system this year to aid riders to enter the correct class. The entries actually open on Monday 1st February but we will list the scenario in the order which folds out this weekend.
By the time you read this the full supplementary regulations for the event will be published on the official website,
www.vetsmxdn.co.uk and the organisers recommend that these are read which will help riders when entering. Then from 9am on Saturday, having clicked to acknowledge that the regulations have been read and understood, it will be possible to download and print an entry form which can then be posted to the Event Secretary (not the ACU). There are ten spaces reserved in each class for postal entries.
Additionally, the on line entry system - again from the Vets MXdN website will go live at 6pm on Monday evening (Feb 1st) for the three Evo Classes ONLY (125,250 and 500) whereby riders must enter the appropriate capacity class. Following this, at 7.30pm the site will accept entries for the remaining five classes.
For non ACU members it will be possible to purchase a day licence at the same time as entering.
Fifteen spaces are reserved for foreign riders who should not enter on-line, but through the Event Secretary, Di Thompson in the normal way as in past years. Equally entries for the two main Team classes are all done when all team riders are confirmed and again details are in the event regulations.
Dave King is currently busy negotiating with some top world class riders who will also be at the event where they will be sitting on the start line beside fifty nine riders from all abilities in this unique event.
