The Sunday before Christmas was Llangollen and District annual good will trial. Santa and his helpers turned up at this busy time of year and with a lack of snow opted to ride their trials bikes.
10 sections and 4 laps awaited the always well attended trial. With perfect weather conditions on the day it wasn't until lap 2 the sections started to find grip prior to a week of torrential rain.
It was Santa who had the lowest score out of him and his helpers but the overall winner on the day was welsh wizard Ewan Roberts devastated with his 1 mark loss.
As the last bike was put away the heavens opened and all riders took shelter in the sun Trevor for a little bit of festive fun. The chosen charity for this year was Cancer Research UK and the event raised just over £500. Thanks to all who attended and helped.
