The promotors of Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough have announced their dates for 2016 season which are as follows: The Spring Cup Bob Smith Trophy Road Races to be held on the 16th & 17th April 2016 The Cock O’ the North European Road Races to be held on the 25th & 26th June 2016 The Barry Sheene Road Races & Japanese Bike Festival to be held on the 23rd & 24th July 2016 The 66th Steve Henshaw International Gold Cup Road Races to be held on the 17th & 18th September 2016
The admission charges for the April and September meetings are £20 for the Saturday and £30 for the Sunday. A two day ticket in advance is £50 as in the past this gets you admission to the competitors paddocks. For the middle two meetings, The Cock O’ the North in June and the Barry Sheene in July, will both be £20 on the Saturday and £20 on the Sunday. Once again by getting a £40 advanced ticket you will be allowed admission to the competitors paddocks.
Remaining the same as 2015, Children 15 and under and parking is free.
Form 2016 onwards all Camping and Caravanning will be restricted, a camping pitch must be booked in advance. 2016 camping prices will remain the same at £10 per pitch per night for a tent and £15 per pitch per night for a caravan or motorhome. All occupants must have a race weekend ticket.
The Cock O’ the North meeting will include a European bike rally which will include parades of the circuit and static displays by clubs and manufactures
The Barry Sheene Race Festival, now moved to July, will include a Japanese bike festival and rally and again manufacturers are invited to attend. Clubs have also been invited to display their machines.
