The event, organised by Diss MCC, is a long course time card solo enduro forming the final round of the 2015 Edmondson Racing British Enduro Championship. Held in Thetford Forest, this is one of the most popular enduros of the year, mainly due to the dry sandy nature of the land which means the terrain is normally rideable irrespective of the weather and rider capability.
The start area is Ride 24, east of the Brandon to Munford Road. Event sponsor Gavin Hockey Motorcycles is continuing his support of the event which should consist of a 20 mile lap with a 1.6 mile special test adjacent to the start area. Classes are open for Championship, Expert, Clubman, Over 40’s, over 50’s, Ladies and Sportsman.
Championship class riders normally ride 5 laps with 6 special tests, Expert 5 laps with 3 timed tests, Clubman, Over 40’s and Over 50’s 4 laps with 2 timed tests and Sportsman 3 laps with 2 special tests.
The start time is 09.00 on Sunday 15th November but riders can sign on and have their machines examined on Saturday afternoon.
