The Northern Counties Speed Hill Climb and Sprint Championship returns to Oliver’s Mount this weekend for round 11 of the Championship.
The picturesque Oliver’s Mount circuit will once again provide a thrilling back drop to Britain’s best hill climb riders as they try to challenge for the fastest time up the 1076 meter course.
There is a full entry list, with over 60 cars competing at the weekend there is something for everyone, with bikes ranging from Lambretta 125’s to Superbikes.
Fans also have the chance to see all machinery up close as the paddock is open to the public free of charge.
There is also a lot of local talent taking the course on Sunday including Martin Myhill from Flamborough, Michael Jackson of Bridlington and hometown heroes Rhona and Robin Haslam of Scarborough.
With speeds over 90mph, spectators lining the course and the weather forecast looking great for the week ahead, everything is all set for a great day of hill climbing on Sunday.
Tickets are available on the gate and cost £10 and children 15 years and younger are free of charge when accompanied by an adult.
