Bardney’s Ivan Lintin hot on the heals of his success of winning his first TT Race in the Isle of Man heads for Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough to compete in the Barry Sheene Race & Rally Festival Powered by Suzuki.
The unassuming Lincolnshire retained fireman took the chequered flag in the Lightweight TT on a Kawasaki 650 Supertwin provided by his sponsors R & C Express, completing the 3-lap 113.13 mile race over the world famous Snaefell Mountain Course in 57 minutes 6.070 seconds at a speed of 118.9.36 mph.
Ivan is the current holder of the
Steve Henshaw Gold Cup Trophy which he won in convincing style at last September’s Gold Cup International Road Races held on the 2.43-mile hillside course in the North Yorkshire town.
Having signed for the R & C Express team at the beginning of 2015 he made a successful racing debut at the Spring Cup meeting in April taking a double victory on their liveried machines.
The Barry Sheene Race & Rally Festival Powered by Suzuki takes place over the weekend of Saturday and Sunday 20th & 21st June.
