The ACU British ISDE teams have for a while now been making continual improvement, as part of our improvement plans we would like to source a Chef to cater for this years teams, in recent years this function has been carried out by Kathryn, she has done a great job which we would like to thank her for but unfortunately she is unable to help us again.
Therefore we are now looking for a volunteer to head up the teams catering requirements, ideally with catering qualifications, so that we can ensure that standards of hygiene are met and that the riders are advised on, and fed a diet that suits their needs for the exercise involved with an event of this nature.
The volunteers duties would include, planning and management of the catering budget and providing lunch time meals prior to the event and evening meals during the event for up to 20 people, the day to day management of the kitchen and dining areas ensuring and advising on the correct levels of hygiene, management of daily volunteer kitchen porters to ensure the areas are correctly prepared for the following days activities, monitoring of and advising the riders on the correct diet and ensuring their needs are met.
In return we could offer that he or she would be made to feel very welcome, supply free team clothing, free transport aboard the team minibus to and from the event, the opportunity to view the event when not on duty witnessing the best riders in the world, possibly other expenses to be discussed/agreed dependant on the candidate, more importantly the great feeling and sense of satisfaction that comes from being an integral part of the national Enduro team competing at the highest level of international team competition, enjoying the benefits of and the sense of satisfaction that can result from team success.
The travelling dates are 1st-13th Sept 2015.
