No doubt about it, the British Class C and D Championships are blooming. Forty six contenders head for Birstall and the Bumpy Ltd headquarters for round five in the series. Jamie Galloway, all the way from Kirkcaldy, Horsham’s Jack Dance and Newton Abbott starlet Billy Green all have a maximum eighty championship points to date.
In Class D Electric Harry Hemingway is close on seventy seven points but consistent Buxton boy Harry Turner could knock Little Hemmo’s charge. Billy Green is a class act but then Whitwick’s Daniel Slack has run the Devon boy close at every event. Bradford’s Jacob Smith and Shepley’s Harvey Mosley have been hitting the awards in northern trials every weekend. Jack Dance and Dale Freeman could be in for a battle with the Yorkies. Galloway could be troubled by Henry Stephenson who has swapped to fossil power but his transition has been slow.
On the White route Silsden’s Josh McParland could be the boy in the lights with Leyburn’s Callum Fowler and Ravensworth contender Conrad Andrew.
The action fires up at 10.30 am with four laps, ten sections and five hour’s time allowance.
