The Maxxis British Motocross Championship reached it's 2006 conclusion on Sunday September 10th.
The classic Hawkstone Park venue hosted the championship final of finals as Carl Nunn EA KTM, the reigning champion defended his title against Tommy Searle Molsen Kawasaki. Carl won both motos despite a great effort by Tommy Searle to take the MX2 title
Ken de Dycker CAS Honda became the 06 MX1 class champion and only had to score a few points to stop 2nd placed James Noble RWJ Honda getting a sniff of the championship. Josh Coppins CAS Honda riding his last British Championship race cleaned up winning both races before moving to Europe next year.
