Event Entry
Entry for all Championship rounds should be processed via the ACU Sport80 platform.
“On the day” entries are not generally accepted. This is to allow organisers time to produce event programmes and to prepare for the event.
Scoring
For each round points are allocated as shown:
Best performance 20 points, then 17,15,13,11,10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2, and 1 for 15
th place in each class.
Only the first 15 finishers in each class shall be awarded points.
Points will not be awarded to “Out of Centre” entrants, or competitors riding out of class for one event.
Riders must belong to a Southern Centre ACU Club to contend the Championship, but out of Centre visitors are very welcome to enter any round on a no points basis.
The number of events to count in the core series for each competitor will be the total number of events in the series less three. (i.e., a rider finishing in all 12 core rounds would have their worst three scores deducted)
For the Pre-67 and Twin Shock classes the number of events to count in the series for each competitor will be the total number of events in the series (14) less four.
Awards
Awards will be presented for the 1
st, 2
nd, and 3
rd places in each class. (Subject to a minimum class entry of ten in that class.)
Award winners and partners will be invited as complimentary guest of “The ACU Southern Centre” to the annual Awards Presentation in early 2026, to be presented with their awards.
Method of Marking
RuleTSR22A, “Stop Permitted” for all core rounds.
Rule TSR22B, “Non-Stop” for Classic Rounds.
The method of marking should be included in the event Supplementary Regulations.
Route Marking
Organisers will provide details of section marking and the route colours used for the event in any Final Instructions issued and at the start of the Trial.
Due to regional variations, there may different route marking flag colours used at some Trials. Riders should familiarise themselves with the colours used before attempting the sections.
A Section Map will be displayed at the start.
Rider Numbers
Event organisers will provide a “number card,” which will also indicate the route to be ridden, to all entrants for each Championship Round.
Class Consistency
Riders should ensure that they are competing in the correct class for all rounds to accrue Championship Points for that class.
Ties
The method of resolving ties must be included in the Supplementary Regulations.
A special test may also be used for the final deciding of ties.
General
Organising Clubs should publish all necessary information in the event Supplementary Regulations, the ACU Website, The Sporting Motorcyclist and on their own Club Websites.
A programme, showing the entrants Club, Machine and Class will be produced by the organising Club along with any Final Instructions.
Results will be uploaded by hosting Clubs to their own website.
The Championship League table will be updated after each event and published in the Sporting Motorcyclist and also uploaded to the ACU Southern Centre Facebook Page
