Tommy Gun ready to fire!

2023 Arenacross champion Tommy Searle will be back racing the 2025 World Tour and ACU Arenacross British championship.

After a complicated thumb injury took him out of the running to retain his title in 2024 Tommy is back and hungry to add more Arenacross titles to his impressive resume which he’s built up during an illustrious career.

“I’m looking forward to getting back at it racing Arenacross” says an upbeat Tommy. “Obviously, it didn’t go to plan last year in trying to retain my AX title, so I want to try and win it back. It’s such a good championship to race and always fun, especially in front of so many fans. Racing and hanging out with Dean, Conrad, Jack and all the other Brits for another official British title and the international riders for the World Tour Finals in Abu Dhabi excites me and I think is really good for our sport in the U.K. I’m ready to get going on it and will be announcing my plans and team for 2025 soon.”

Matt Bates, Arenacross owner and promoter, is understandably happy that Searle is back for another year and committed to race hard for not only the British AX title, but also the win at the World Tour Finals in Abu Dhabi on April 26th.

“I’m pleased Tommy wants to race another season of Arenacross with us. It was a shame he never really got the chance to defend his title this year because it was an exciting battle between him and Conrad when he won his title in 2023 and I’m looking forward to seeing that battle return. Especially when you add the likes of Dean Wilson and defending champion Jack Brunell into the melting pot. Everyone in British and World motocross knows what Tommy is all about and what he’s capable of. He’s been one of the most successful and popular British riders over the last decade and has bridged a generation. He’ll be focused on winning and that’s good for Arenacross, the fans and his team.”
