The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company will begin their 39th year of support of the Southern 100 Races in 2025 as the ‘friendly races’ celebrate their 70th anniversary.
The Company has been Title Sponsor of ‘the friendly races’ since 1999. The Island’s Lifeline also assist in many other ways, one of which is a special discount scheme for marshals travelling to the event from the adjacent Islands and they have agreed to continue the scheme next year, 2025.
The scheme has been in place since 2017 and has helped attract additional marshals to officiate, who are vital to ensure the races are run to the highest safety standards.
All valid marshals will receive the booking form by email in early December, this is also when we hope to have online marshal applications for 2025 open.
For those marshals looking to book ferry and accommodation, Steam Packet Holidays will be creating some inclusive packages which take into account the ferry discount on offer to qualifying marshals. As soon as these are available (early December) The Southern 100 Club will forward to the list of those marshals that are eligible.
