The ACU is thrilled to announce that the successes of its various motorcycle sport champions will be celebrated at the upcoming Motorcycle Live show as part of an 'ACU Awards' event on Saturday, 23 November.
Held at the NEC from 16-24 November, Motorcycle Live attracts a massive audience and therefore provides a fantastic platform on which to honour our talented competitors from various sporting disciplines.
The ACU will have a stand (Hall 4 location 4D15) for the duration of Motorcycle Live and Awards will be presented there at specific time slots. Sporting Commission Co-ordinators will reach out to all winners asking for confirmation of their attendance at the show and to confirm ticketing arrangements.
All disciplines will be represented on the ACU stand including Trials, Enduro, Road Racing, Track Racing (Grasstrack), Speedway and Motocross. Licence holders, officials and organisers are invited to come onto the stand to meet members of the ACU team and ask any questions. Riders will also be able to obtain 2025 competition licences from staff.
Matthew Edwards-Wear, ACU Secretary General, said: “A lot of riders have said how much they have missed the ACU Awards when I and other members of the Board have visited events, so we've been very keen to reintroduce them as part of our activities at Motorcycle Live.
"It will be fantastic to celebrate our champions from across the disciplines, and for our fans to take pictures, seek autographs and maybe snap a selfie or two with their heroes!
"As the ACU, we're looking forward to a big week at the NEC where we will have a selection of riders on the main stage talking about their sporting achievements, and Pippa Laverty hosting a 'Women in Sport' session that will promote the easy ways women can get involved in motorcycle sport across the disciplines.”
